Before Carbon Credits are published on our Marketplace, our team has compared the entries with the respective registries, spoken to the project owners and authenticated their identity.

We are offering Escrow Payments. Therefore, once a buyer and a seller have agreed on a Transaction, payment will be made by buyer into Escrow and only released to seller, if Carbon Credits have been transferred.

1. Buyer identifies Carbon Credits on CL!

2. Via CL Portal´s Messaging System he sends his interest

3. CL Team will get in touch with Seller to get an updated status of the requested Carbon Credits.

4. If Carbon Credits are still for sale, CL Team will mediate the negotiations between the partners, until a price is agreed on.

5. CL Team will ask both partners to sign an agent agreement and NDA with CL, before a direct connection is established. Agent Agreement will include the details of seller and buyer as well as the agreed commission for CL.

6. CL will provide both partners with contract templates, if this is requested.

CL will initiate a Transaction on Escrow.com in which the buyer can transfer the purchasing price. Once the seller transfers the carbon credits into the buyer’s registry account, the funds will be released from the Escrow account into the sellers account.
