In the project “Altmark“, 140 hectares made up of 75% pine and 13% larch dominated forest in Saxony-Anhalt are transformed into a biodiverse forest. The project avoids and removes over 18,000 tons of CO₂ emission over 30 years from the atmosphere, preparing the forest for future climatic conditions.
